Terms of Service

By using cut-clean.com ("CutClean"), operated by Not A Cult LLC, you agree to these terms.

The service

CutClean analyzes and repairs DXF and SVG cut files, fixing open contours, duplicate and stray geometry, jagged arcs, and unit/scale problems. Single-file repair on the free tier runs entirely in your browser; higher tiers add batch processing and other features.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU).

Acceptable use

Don't break the law, abuse or attack the service, attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing, or scrape the service. Don't upload content you don't have the right to process.

Your files and content

You keep all rights to the files you upload and the cleaned files CutClean produces. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process a file to perform the repair you request. We do not claim ownership of your designs and we do not use your files to train any model. See our Privacy Policy.

Plans, billing & auto-renewal

• Free: a limited number of single-file repairs per day, run in your browser at no charge.
• Pro: $15/month or $144/year. A limited number of founding customers may subscribe at a locked-in founder price of $9/month.
• Shop: $45/month, adding team seats, API access, and higher limits.
• Pay-as-you-go credits: a credit pack is $5 for 50 repairs. Credits expire 12 months after purchase.

Auto-renewal: paid subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew at the end of each billing period. Monthly plans renew every month, and annual plans renew every year. Your payment method is charged automatically at the start of each new period until you cancel.

Cancel anytime. You can cancel from the Stripe Billing Portal in one click. Cancellation stops all future renewal charges; you keep access to your paid plan through the end of the period you have already paid for. Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.

Prices are shown before you check out and are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We may change prices with prior notice, and changes apply to renewals after the notice period (a locked-in founder price stays locked for as long as that subscription stays active). Programmatic API

The Shop plan includes access to the CutClean HTTP API and outbound webhooks. If you use them:

• API keys are secrets. You are responsible for keeping your keys confidential and for all activity performed with them. Rotate or revoke a key from your account if it is exposed.
• Rate & usage limits apply. API requests are subject to rate limiting and to the limits of your plan. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke API access that abuses the service, degrades it for others, or runs up disproportionate cost.
• Webhooks. Endpoints you register receive signed job-completion callbacks; verify the signature before trusting a payload. You are responsible for the security and availability of the endpoints you register.

Selling your files & third-party bureaus

Some paid features help you distribute or manufacture your designs. When you use them:

• Buyer information you enter. The seller tools let you attach a label to a licensed or fingerprinted download (for example, a buyer's name or order reference). You are responsible for any personal information you enter about third parties, for having a lawful basis to process it, and for your own obligations to those people. We store it only to provide the feature; see our Privacy Policy.
• Send-to-bureau & affiliate disclosure. The send-to-bureau feature hands the file you choose to a third-party cutting service (such as SendCutSend or OSH Cut) through their own quote pages; your use of that service is governed by their terms and privacy policy, not ours. We may earn an affiliate commission when you order through those links. We disclose this so you know our recommendation may be compensated. It does not change your price, and using a bureau is always your explicit choice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CutClean is a tool to assist with cut-file preparation; you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any file before using it to cut material. We do not warrant that a repaired file is fit for any particular machine, material, or manufacturing process.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
